Grönberg is a medium-sized commercial law firm. The firm employs some of Sweden’s most knowledgeable commercial lawyers. Many of the firm’s employees come from other leading law firms, and many have extensive experience of international business.
Grönberg was founded in Stockholm in 1928 by Gösta Grönberg (1889–1965). Gösta Grönberg had been head of Enskilda Bank’s trust department before founding the law firm. Over time, the firm grew to be one of the leading commercial law firms in Sweden. In the late 1990s, Grönberg merged with the German law firm Schürmann & Partner, which had around 10 offices in Europe. In 1999, the new firm was integrated with the global Coudert Brothers network.
Since 2005, we are once again named Grönberg since we believe that the advantages of being an independent law firm outweigh all others. At the same time, we have a wide network of international contacts and often work on cross-border cases.
